One day I was in the church alone and the only light was coming from the windows. It shown on a tuba making such wonderful designs. I decided to use it in a painting as part of the landscape. While looking through some photos I noticed how aspen trees are relatively the same diameter top to bottom but twist and turn in many directions just like the tuba, thus the name.
